Technology Education with Mr. Seelig

 

Okay, this is not a social networking page- it is an electronic portfolio. Electronic portfolios are a way to store, manage, and show a student's work. In today's ever changing technological world, electronic portfolios are becoming more common and in many cases required. Several colleges are now requiring electronic portfolios and if they do not, it will only make a potential candidate look better.

 

 

Students will create an electronic portfolio for their Technology Education class and utilize the four main elements of web design- Contrast, Alignment, Repetition, and Proximity. Each project completed will have a corresponding web page which describes and depicts that particular project. As students proceed to the high school, they will have the option of continuing their website as it is the same program being used district wide!
