Technology Education with Mr. Seelig

Sandblasting is a great skill to have and has many uses. In this project, students learn a new computer program called Silhouette which allows students to convert images into vectors that can then be cut out.

Once the Silhouette file is ready, the image gets cut out on our vinyl cutter.  Then vinyl acts as a mask that protects a glass coaster that is then sandblasted.

Once the blasting is done, the vinyl is peeled off and the project is done!
